Growing up on a beef and tobacco farm in southern Kentucky, I gained an appreciation of agriculture. It wasn't until I was older that I grew to love the amazing diversity of our agricultural industry and the fabulous products we produce.

Kentucky is now the largest beef cattle producer east of the Mississippi, we rank 5th nationally in goat production, and are known worldwide as the horse capital of the world.

Kentucky's producers are not stopping at merely producing the finest agricultural products across the state. A growing number of farmers are adding value to their products and marketing direct to the consumer.
